The job is a manual kind, where the holder is handling and process the material for shipment. For the purpose of shipment in the aircraft, the goods have to be processed and packaged into container or pallets. The airway bills have to be prepared for each of the consignment.
The Working conditions.
- The work can be in the open air, when the aircraft arrive, the cargo have to be downloaded from the aircaft to cargo terminals. The goods have to be rearranged according to the receivers and to be send to the consignee by land transport.
- The handlers are working on a pattern of shift, which include public holiday.
Requirements

Unlike cars or buses, aircraft is very sensitive to weight. The basic calculation can be made to the maximum take off weight, for a given aircraft. The maximum loads depends on its takeoff speed, the condition of the air and some other conditions.
The weight or loads have to distributed according to the requirement to ensure that the aircraft can fly straight and level.
The job of calculating the maximum loads that can be carried and how the loads are to be distributed is done by the LOAD controller . The knowledge and skill is known as weight and balance.

Position 2 – SENIOR CARGO ASSISTANT
You will be responsible to plan and implement the cargo loads for the flights . You must comply to the international procedures for cargo handling and able to optimize the load.
The applicants must at least have his “O” level or equivalent with 3 years experience working in the field. He must have a sound supervisory skill with knowledge of the cargo requirements.
